READING RESPONSE - CHAPTERS 1-5 Suppose that you are part of a rescue team that arrives the morning after Brian wakes up from the crash. He tells you what happened, and you write an incident report. Based on the events as they are told in the novel, write such a report. Remember that the incident report is limited to the facts of the crash. Do not include Brian’s emotions or your own guesses about what happened—just the facts.

The survivor Brian was travelling to his fathers house in Canada, he was in a plane with only the pilot and him on the board. While on the plane, the pilot had a heart attach and died. Brian flew in the plane for 4 hours, he was able to contact help, but after a few minutes, the radio stopped. The plane then crushed because it was out of fuel and landed in a lake in a Canadian forest. Since then Brian has been alone in the forest for a night, before he was found.

The survivor Brian was found under a redwood tree by the bank of an L shaped lake. He told me what had happened but didn't see fully conscious. He said " I left New York airport to go and visit my dad in north Canada," but on the trip the pilot had had a heart attack. He knew a bit about flying so he crash landed the plane in the lake he was by. He said he struggled to get out of the plane but managed to smash the planes windscreen and swam to shore. He then said that he crawled t under the tree and fell asleep. He woke up that afternoon to a swarm of mosquitoes, then fell asleep again until when we found him.

Survivor Brian and the pilot were heading to Canada when the pilot of the plane witnessed a heart attack, leaving Brian to fly the plane straight until he ran out of fuel. In between flying the plane and crashing he tried to communicate through the radio then lost signal. When he ran out of fuel he found a lake. He crashed into the lake and went down, the front window was broken from the impact so he climbed through that and swam to the top of the lake. He then collapsed on the ground and just lay there until he found a spot and went to sleep, with mosquitoes biting all over him. He woke up and drunk water from the lake and vomited it up.

The indecent happened when the survivor, Brian was going to Canada to visit his father. His plane crashed when the pilot had a heart attack and became unconscious. Shortly after this the survivor said that he had to fly the plane on his own, luckily the pilot had taught him how to do this a couple of minutes before. The survivor said he had gone off track and wasn't sure whether he was going the right way or not. When Brian was flying the plane he had run out of fuel and was forced to find an open area or lake, luckily for him a few minutes later an L shaped lake was just ahead. The survivor then crashed into the lake and survived. He said that he had to leave the pilot in the depth of the water as he tried swimming to the top. he fell asleep when he got to the shore. On day one he said there were mosquitoes everywhere, when we found him is face was swelled up. He had no shelter or food. He had only seen birds and beavers to eat, but as he looked there were none to find. Brian said he drank the water from the lake to keep him alive. He had no matches or anything to start a fire so the night he crashed was a very, very cold night.

Brian Robeson has survived an aeroplane crash. He left New York in a small plane to visit his father in the Canadian wilderness. As Brian and the pilot were flying over the Canadian wilderness the pilot suffered a heart attach and died. Brian tried communicating with people through a radio but had no luck. Then Brian had to try and control the plane until it ran out of fuel and crash-land it in a "L" shaped lake in the Canadian wilderness. Brian had to quickly get out of the plane as it was sinking in the lake. He suffered one night with swarms of mosquitoes. When he woke in the morning he was very thirsty and had to drink lake water. When he was found his face was severely sunburnt, blistering and peeling.

Survivor 13 year old Brian was in a plane over the Canadian wilderness. During his flight the pilot had a heart attack he tried to communicate over the radio but had little success. Brian had then flown the plane until it ran out of full and managed to maneuver the plane into a lake. On impact he suffered no serious injury's, the plane windows were shattered making a way for him to escape under the water. Brian had then gotten to the shore of the lake and carried himself to a tree to lie down. He later was swarmed by mosquitoes and suffered swelling to the bare skin. He had then decided to drink out of the lake but after doing so he vomited.

Survivor Brian Robeson was found in the Canadian woods alone after a plane crash in which the pilot died of a heart attack. Brian was left with a small hatchet to help him survive. The plane is under water with the pilot. Brian was found with a bruise on his forehead and light swelling on his face and other parts of his body, along with some scratches from climbing through the plane window. After the pilot died from his heart attack Brian had to pilot the plane and find out how to land the plane.

The survivor Brian, the one that was in the recent plane crash, told us this. While Brian was in the plane the plane's pilot had a heart attack Brain tried to save the pilot but he couldn't. He doesn't know the flight path so he had the idea to wait until the fuel to run out and then crash into a lake and that's how the plane crashed. He was closer to the father's home so we brung him to there.
